"Esperanza" means hope in Spanish. Esperanza Market is an online marketplace that sells bags and purses directly from artisans from the second-poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Nicaragua. Esperanza Market offers hope to impoverished women by providing jobs and the chance to access a better life. We follow Fair Trade guidelines, which means we pay living wages, not just minimum wages.
